After a warm welcome at Grenoble TGV station, check in our Hotel, your first ride in with us will be on a Cycling Monument : Since it was first included in the 1952 Tour De France, no other stage has had such drama. With its 21 bends, gradient (Cat H.C, 14 Km at 8 % ),its overwhelming number of spectators (half a million), Alpe d'Huez is a mix of success, defeat, surprise, joy, defeat, sweat & tears, emotion, and anecdotes, Each hairpin bend is named after a winner of a stage. Conquering the Alpe d’Huez is entering the Legend!

2 Classified Climbs for the Price of one : Croix de Fer & Glandon....... Col de la Croix de Fer is another "Hors Catégorie" climb that you will manage to tick on your on your bucket list. When climbing this monument (1,924m, 21 Km at 6,9 %). Small tip to sustain your motivation while climbing : think of the 20 Km long downhill that will follow. 2,5 Km from the summit & a few hundred meter detour will enable you to record Col du Gandon on your Strava ! Col de la Croix de Fer has been featured in 21 Tour de France editions.

Nothing beats a Sunrise ride in the Alpes! After a quick espresso & croissant, you will surely enjoy the 10km downhill of Alpe Huez & the picturesque ride overlooking Oisans Valley. Do not relax too much !! What comes down must climb back! Col de Sarenne is one of Tour de France forgotten col, last featured in 2017 Tour du Dauphiné, this Cat 1 climb (12,8 KM at 7,5 %) will be your last mythical climb of your Alpine weekend. Upon your return back to the hotel, you will be rewarded with a proper breakfast before an "Au Revoir to Grenoble" TGV station

Flying to France: To minimize the risk of delays, recover from jet lag, we do advise you to land in Paris (CDG) on Saturday (Journey start on Sunday noon). To reach Grenoble you will board a TGV (high-speed train) in Gare de Lyon, for TGV information https://www.raileurope.com/index.html
We will welcome you at Grenoble TGV station at 12:00 pm. If you are encountering delays/challenges while traveling to Grenoble please contact us at (33) 781125248. While we do not handle train & plane booking we would be glad to advise on the best options. At the end of your journey, we will drive you back to the TGV station (11:30 am)

We have selected some of the best bikes currently on the market: TREK Domane SL7 Di2 or PINARELLO Prince Disk Ultegra Di2. While features are similar to "Tour de France peloton" machines (Full Carbon, Electronic Transmission), you may also wish to upgrade to a superior bike category or wheelset, upgrade your bike. For your convenience, we will supply you with a Helmet, and desired pedal type.
Each day, your road captain will open the road, lead you through charming villages, traffic-less country roads, advise on how to tackle the next climb and all the while, ensure your safety and comfort. As experienced cyclists, we know that it is always reassuring to feel a presence along the way. This is why an assistance vehicle will follow you in case of a puncture or if you need beverages, snacks, an extra layer or even wish to rest for a while.
Every day several mileage and speed average options will be available to suit all fitness levels. To provide a genuine, safe and personalized experience the group size will be limited to 15 guests in a week. You may also enjoy a daily BéloVélo Bike Clinic during which a Road Captain will teach you tips of the peloton, mechanical advise and much more

At the end of your journey, You may recognize such dedication by tipping your Road Captains Based on your level of enjoyment we advise tipping 6 to 10 % of your Journey price.
